  • electrophysiology - focused on the treatment of the electrical system of the heart, such as arrhythmias, and the implantation and use of pacemakers
  • nuclear cardiology - focused on assessing the pumping function of the heart, the presence of blockages in coronary arteries, and the degree of damage to the heart
  • echocardiography - focused on the interpretation of and performance of echocardiogram and transesophageal echo procedures
