Selecting a Physician
Finding the doctor that's right for you is no easy task. This physician directory is designed to help you make an educated choice but first you should know that all RWJ Hamilton physicians meet a rigorous credentialing process in order to join the active medical staff, meeting the highest standards of professional practice. Perhaps that's why we're known for the areas "best doctors."
Every physician who applies for privileges has his or her credentials scrutinized by the Section Chief and Department Chairman of the specialty involved. The next step is a careful review by the Medical Staff Credentials Committee and the Medical Staff Executive Committee. And upon recommendation of the Medical Staff Executive Committee, the applicant is granted privileges by the Board of Trustees.
Every two years, every physician with priveleges at RWJ Hamitlon is subject to a recredentialing process; this process includes a review of the physician's continuing medical education.
