Emergency Services
To make your visit to the Emergency Department as productive and efficient as possible, please consider the following:
- Bring personal identification along with your medicine(s) or your list of medicine(s) and any known allergies.
- Bring a copy of your advance directive, if you have one.
- Ask questions if you are uncertain or confused.
- Please be patient. Tests and procedures that ordinarily would take several days to complete can be done here in several hours. Those hours will yield crucial information, but may be tiresome for you.
- Make sure you let us know the name of your primary doctor.
- Tell us your current address, telephone number and insurance information.
- We are committed to providing care to all patients (insured or uninsured). Insurance agencies and other 3rd party payers require us to attempt to collect co-payments. If you have any questions or concerns please ask a staff member.
Important: Your insurance company may require that notification be given within a specified time period following your visit—please check your identification card and follow instructions. It is your responsibility to notify your insurance company if it is required.

| YOU CHOOSE
There's a reason why people choose our emergency department more often than any other Mercer County hospital.
