Occupational health services are designed to meet the needs of the corporate client to improve work force health and lower health costs, as well as the individual seeking medical advice for international travel.

Over 10,000 employees receive medical services through 500 different employers who are clients of RWJ Hamilton Occupational & Corporate Health. Serving employer clients near and far, care is provided on the RWJ Hamilton campus; our mobile team also offers on-site services at employer locations. Additionally, after-hours technicians are available for drug and alcohol screening.

All vaccines are kept in stock for employer clients. Our medical practice is experienced in delivering physical examinations with multiple components, including:

• Firefighter Physical Examinations (per NFPA Guidelines),
• DOT Physical Examinations (per Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, 49 CFR 391.41),
• HAZWOPER Medical Surveillance Examinations (per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120) , and
• Asbestos Medical Surveillance Examinations (per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1001).

The RWJ Hamilton team provides initial and follow-up care for work-related injuries and provides a unique focus on reducing these injuries and their severity, reducing lost work time and optimizing clinical outcomes while reducing associated costs by employers.

Through our travel medicine program, consultations may be scheduled to discuss all health concerns while traveling abroad (RWJ Hamilton is a certified yellow fever vaccination site).
