Lactation/Breastfeeding Consultation
Our lactation staff is committed to making yours a satisfying breastfeeding experience. A member of the staff is available each day you are in the hospital to help answer your questions, or just offer encouragement.
 


Once you go home, we continue to be available via telephone at 609.631.6923. Leave a message and one of our lactation consultants will return your call within 24 hours.

Here is a list of the many services provided to new moms by our lactation consultants:

  • Breastfeeding Classes
  • Breastfeeding Support Group 
  • Breast Pump Rental - Available through The Atrium Shop, located in the hospital on the first floor of the Outpatient Services building. To reserve a hospital-grade breast pump, or for more information about pump rental, call 609.584.6437. If you have questions about breastfeeding or using your pump, call a certified lactation consultant at 609.631.6923.
