The Women & Infants Pavilion at RWJ Hamilton was designed with patient comfort in mind. Each beautifully-appointed suite of this 10-bed labor and delivery unit is fully-equipped with state-of-the-art technology for our new mothers and babies. It looks like a hotel room, but is designed to provide our patients with an exceptional birthing experience.

Each suite has free local telephone, free television, a full bath with shower and a comfortable place for dads to stay overnight. Dad won't have to stray far to find a vending machine in the middle of the night. Our 24-hour pantry area is stocked with complimentary hot and cold beverages, small meal options, and kitchenette amenities such as a refrigerator, microwave oven and coffee maker.

For your comfort, we offer a Jacuzzi tub that assists some patients with the labor process. The Jacuzzi may be used unless otherwise directed by a physician or midwife.

Once your baby has arrived, you will be moved to the beautiful postpartum unit located in the adjacent Lakefront Tower. This newest addition to the hospital offers a warm and welcoming place for you and your family to get to know your new baby.

Our 16 private, postpartum rooms provide a private bath, flat-panel television and comfortable sleeping area for dad to stay overnight. Throughout your stay with us, the hospital provides our award winning Food on Demand program. This program gives you the freedom to choose what you want to eat and when, based on your physician's dietary orders.
