RWJ Hamilton is a private, not-for-profit hospital with a mission to provide Excellence Through Service and promote health through community outreach; preserve health through diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive care; and restore health through comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and emergency healthcare services.

In order to achieve our mission and maximize our impact to the community and our patients, RWJ Hamilton has changed its charitable giving guidelines and will focus its limited charitable funding resources on four core priorities: cardiology, oncology and health related issues for women and children in Mercer, Burlington and Monmouth Counties.

We appreciate the various needs of our community and encourage our employees to make a difference by donating their time, resources and talent to non-profit organizations to help us build a stronger, healthier community. Employees that actively support their community are given priority consideration with their charitable funding request that are in line with these core priorities. Some of the types of funding requests we have accommodated include activities for the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association and the March of Dimes.
