RWJ Hamilton is proud to offer Lifeline, a personal emergency response system for individuals in our community. This system links its subscribers to 24-hour emergency assistance at the push of a button. It allows subscribers to maintain their independence whether they are elderly, new mothers, handicapped, recovering from surgery or living alone.
A Lifeline communicator is installed in the home, which plugs into a telephone jack and an electrical outlet. The subscriber wears a help button either on a neck cord or wristband. In an emergency, the subscriber pushes the button, which sends a signal to the Emergency Response Center for help.
