Lymphedema Treatment

What is Lymphedema?
Lymphedema is abnormal accumulation of interstitial (tissue) fluid after lymph node dissection or radiation.

Lymphedema can occur in the lower extremities after kidney, bladder, prostate, uterine or cervical cancer; in upper extremities after breast or lung cancer; and on the face and neck after throat, ear and brain cancer.

To treat lymphedema, our therapists provide manual lymphatic drainage, compression wrapping, and therapeutic exercises and can refer you for compression garments.
