RWJ Hamilton's bariatric surgery patients have access to a caring support network that can provide guidance for both pre- and post-operative patients. Learn from others who have shared your experiences and gain valuable insight on:

  • Dietitians who provide expert nutrition counseling.
  • Patient Education program
  • Therapy and Rehabilitation Services: For added convenience RWJ Hamilton offers two locations for post-operative physical and occupational therapy. The RWJ Hamilton Center for Health & Wellness, located on Quakerbridge Road in Hamilton, and the RWJ Hamilton at Ewing facility on Lower Ferry Road offer a full range of therapies and support to help improve mobility, function and strength following surgery and can facilitate the transition to a fitness program.
  • RWJ Hamilton Community Education program, one of the most active in New Jersey, offers more than one hundred classes, events and screenings per month on a wide variety of subject matters, including healthy cooking and weight management. The department also offers educational seminars and physician lectures on bariatric surgery several times throughout the year at the RWJ Hamilton Center for Health & Wellness.
