The Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ) Hamilton is located on the campus of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton
(RWJ Hamilton). Until 1996, when CINJ Hamilton opened its doors, members of Hamilton and the surrounding communities were forced
to travel at least 45 minutes, sometimes daily, to receive comprehensive oncology services. Now, for many, it is as close as a trip
to the supermarket.
Our Philosophy
We strive to treat each patient as a unique individual by providing an interdisciplinary approach that prepares a customized treatment plan. By doing so, we are better able to meet the individual needs of each patient.
Our goal is to ensure that the patient maintains the best possible quality of life, both during and after treatment. Therefore, we not only strive to improve current services and programs, but we continuously work to develop new ones as well.
Each one of our staff members is specialized in caring for the oncology patient. We believe that education is essential to cancer care and therefore dedicate various resources of support to our patients and families. This type of support throughout the treatment plan is a key part of our mission.
