The Occupational and Corporate Health Department provides comprehensive medical services to over 800 employers in our local community (Central and Northern New Jersey, greater Mercer County and Burlington County.) Services are available in two convenient locations, one on the campus of RWJ Hamilton and the other in Ewing, NJ.
In addition, our Mobile Team also offers on-site services at employer locations throughout the state of New Jersey.
RWJ Hamilton Occupational and Corporate Health department is a specialty practice in Occupational Medicine. The practice is experienced in delivering physical examinations with multiple components and work-related injuries. RWJ Hamilton performs Firefighter Physical Examinations (per NFPA Guidelines), DOT Physical Examinations (per Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, 49 CFR 391.41), HAZWOPER Medical Surveillance Examinations (per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120) and Asbestos Medical Surveillance Examinations (per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1001).
The department provides initial and follow-up injury care. The program provides a unique focus on reducing work-related injuries and their severity, reducing lost work time and optimizing clinical outcomes while reducing associated costs.
RWJ Hamilton is also a Certified Yellow Fever Vaccination site. Consultations may be scheduled to discuss all health concerns while traveling abroad. All vaccines are kept in stock. Influenza vaccine is also available to the public, including Medicare recipients.
Services are designed to meet the needs of the corporate client to improve work force health and lower health costs as well as the individual seeking medical advice for international travel.
