Jim Maher Named Vice President of Finance of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton

HAMILTON, NEW JERSEY - Jim Maher, CPA, has been appointed vice president of finance at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton. Maher is responsible for patient financial services, health information management, managed care and budget reimbursement, general and cost accounting and materials management.

Maher brings an extensive background to RWJ Hamilton having served in a variety of positions for the Carrier Foundation in Belle Mead, from 1981 through 2001 and his most recent service as vice president of finance for Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, where he was responsible for strategic planning and analysis and participated in the finance, audit and investment committees of the board.

Maher, a Hillsborough, NJ resident, earned a bachelor of science in accounting from Rider University and is a licensed certified public accountant (CPA) in the state of New Jersey. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Healthcare Financial Management Association-New Jersey Chapter and the New Jersey Hospital Association's CFO constituency group.
