Rocking Chair Donated to RWJ Hamilton Maternity Unit In Memory of a Special Neighbor
04/12/07
HAMILTON, NEW JERSEY – Louise Sessa, a kind and well-loved member of the Hamilton community who recently passed away, is being remembered in
a unique way by a group of her friends and neighbors. The group donated a wooden rocking chair in her honor to the maternity unit of Robert Wood
Johnson University Hospital Hamilton (RWJ Hamilton). The group, which completes a yearly holiday project to touch the lives of those in need, chose
the rocking chair as a means to keep the spirit of a their friend alive.

Bill Sessa, Louise's husband of 50 years, agreed that it was a wonderful way to bring joy to his wife's memory. This special chair, which sports a gold
plaque dedicated to Louise, was recently placed in RWJ Hamilton's 16-bed nursery inside the new Lakefront Tower building, where parents and nurses
can use it every day to comfort and rock the newborns. RWJ Hamilton's maternity unit is nationally recognized for the high quality of care, and
features a total of 30 private patient rooms and a Level II Special Care Nursery.
