RWJ Hamilton Names New Chief Financial Officer, L. Gil Cottle
L. Gil Cottle of Huntingdon Valley, Pa., joined Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton as chief financial officer and senior vice president.
Cottle comes to RWJ Hamilton with more than 35 years of experience as a CFO, including the last 15 years at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, which is part of the Tenet Healthcare System.
“We are very fortunate to add a person of Gil’s caliber to our team,” said Skip Cimino, president and CEO at RWJ Hamilton. “Gil has demonstrated operational results in revenue cycle, decision support, managed care, health information management, information systems, and growth and cost initiatives.”
Prior to working for St. Christopher’s, Cottle worked 20 years as CFO in the Columbia Arlington Healthcare System and Columbia Arlington Hospital in Arlington, Va.
Cottle is a Certified Public Accountant, and a graduate of West Virginia University where he also earned his MBA.
