Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton invites you to learn more about the region's
most spectacular, professional and comprehensive Wellness Center—the RWJ Center for Health &
Wellness. Take control of your health and let our expert staff guide you to a healthier way of
living.
Our new 86,000 square foot facility, which opened in August 2004, promotes healthy living by offering the community access to over 200 pieces of strength training and cardio equipment, personal trainers, an aquatic center, a full staff of nurse educators, comprehensive health library with computer access, the JeanneMichel day spa, Mulberry Street Bistro, healthy cooking kitchen and childcare.
In addition, the hospital has also moved the majority of its patient rehabilitation services to the new site to take advantage of its technologically advanced fitness equipment.
The medically-based model is anchored by an 18-member Medical Advisory Panel (MAP) of physicians that represent a variety of specialties and provide direction to the staff and oversee the content of many educational offerings at the Center.
The new site includes a 220-seat conference center that can be subdivided for breakout groups. This unique meeting space includes opportunities for attendees to work out before, during or after meetings.
